Christmas Day
Great fun was had by all at the Vicarage on Christmas day… we welcomed Santa and his elves at 9.30am, before they went off their rounds of the Vicarage visiting everyone and giving a gift to each resident.
Late morning we greeted our visitors in the Conservatory with Bucks fizz, mince pies and savoury nibbles.
Christmas dinner was wonderful with the dining room bursting at the seams. Wine flowed endlessly as we made our way through 4 courses before retiring to watch the Queen’s speech and yes… a short ‘power nap’ was needed to get us through till tea when again a’ table fit for a king’ was offered again. It was a wonderful Christmas day, enjoyed by us all.
